Apple is planning a broad conclusion to its refurbished fees at retail that would provoke or activate its Verizon iPhone. The company would let go the 10% penalty permanently for anyone bringing back the device in the normal two-week grace period, starting from the 11th of January, and this will be the same day as the special event.
Anyhow the cancellation of refurbishing fees will be of use if you think you had ordered an advanced version of an Apple product. 9 to 5 Mac also marks the date of January 11 being the same date as the event of Verizon and also this means that the presence of Apple will be more than what was thought before. We will have to wait and watch how Apple handles with people trying bring back their scratched up iPods and what will be iPhones policy. The 14 day period for return still applies but for instance if you buy a 16 GB iPad and use it for 3 days, then want to upgrade it to the next 32 GB model, you don’t have to pay the 10% refurbishing fee that is additional.
