Sony plans to alternate its Alpha NEX-3 changeable-lens camera with the cramped, but not very different, NEX-C3. And uses the same layout APS-C image sensor as its ancestor, including multi shots like Sweep panorama, handheld twilight, Auto HDR, bouncing resolution is from 14 megapixels to 16 megapixels. According to Sony, the new entry-level cam is made to patch up the gap between DSLR cameras and point-and-shoot, and is the tiny body to pack in offering DSLR level quality of image, the same 16.2 megapixel chip is also added in its new full-size Alpha A35, that replaces the A33.
Both these cameras can shoot at up to 5.5 fbs, and include LCDs of 3-inch, with the NEX still keeping its symbol tilt display, and the A35 adding Translucent Mirror live-view mode of Sony, and an electronic viewfinder. Let us hope that this Alpha A35 and NEX C-3 camera with new macro lens will be able to attract consumers.
